Darrell Plummer continues Family Tradition...
Darrell Plummer, owner of Prudential Sierra Nevada Properties, earned his real estate license in 1983. Plummer is a 1984 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a degree in business administration with a special emphasis in finance, and a minor in economics. While attending college Darrell served as chapter president of the International Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Fresh out of college, Plummer became a trust officer with First Interstate Bank of Nevada (now known as Wells Fargo), following that with seven years as the Director of Economic Development for Sierra Pacific Power Company, before joining the company in 1995. He took over as broker/owner in January 2001.
Among his achievements is his 1993 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Leadership Reno Alumni Association of the Greater Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce for Outstanding professional and community involvement. That was the same year he also took on a special project: bicycling 4,000 miles with a friend from Seattle to Boston.

Darrell is involved in numerous community organizations including: Western Industrial Nevada (WIN) Board member , Women's Council of REALTORS (WCR), The Chamber of Reno/Sparks/Northern Nevada and a Partner in Education for Libby Booth Elementary School. His past Board Affiliations include: Chair of the Dean's Advisory Board of UNR's College of Business Administration, Dandini Research Park Advisory Board, President of UNR's College of Business Administration Alumni Association, UNR's Alumni Association Council, Nevada Symphony Orchestra, Nevada State Development Corporation, Nevada Economic Development Association, Channel 5 Public Broadcasting business Club Steering Committee Chairman, Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), High Sierra Industries, Reno YMCA and is a founding Board member and past Dean of the Leadership/NVAR program of the Nevada Association of Realtors.
In his spare time Darrell continues to ride (on a bicycle) in several organized centuries each year to include the annual Death Ride. Hiking up Mt. Whitney in 2007, Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim in one day in 2009 and a summit of Mt. Shasta in 2011 is a new passion with friends from all over the country.
Plummer is married with three beatiful boys and one beautiful girl.
